Each Tax Deductable Donation Helps Bring Families Together!
ACCESS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization
Families of infants born prematurely or with special needs as newborns face many challenges in addition to the health status of their babies. The Auxiliary of Good Samaritan Hospital, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, created ACCESS (A Caring Community of Education, Services and Support) to help families spend more time with their babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), worry less and develop the skills they will need when their children come home.
ACCESS is now reaching beyond the NICU to families of mothers hospitalized with high risk pregnancies and families with babies and children in Pediatrics, the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the NICU Follow-Up Program. In the future, ACCESS services will be available to anyone with a family member hospitalized at Good Samaritan Hospital.
The mission of ACCESS is to support families during the crisis of hospitalization, enabling families to spend more time with their loved ones and to advocate for and respond to their needs.
